The Real Estate Industry has changed with technology.  Buyers shop online for homes, sellers have access to information that can help them sell their homes.  Virtual Tours allow buyers to walk through homes without ever visiting the home.  Buyers and Sellers can go online and learn how to buy/sell a home themselves.  However, neither has access to the MLS because it is only available to licensed agents/brokers. The MLS is the key to pricing, advertising and selling your home and the sales process can seem overwhelming so people continue to use Real Estate Agents. There is no reason that anyone should pay 6% to agents to sell their home because the same steps have to be followed to sell every home regardless of its price.  This is why I started Flat Fee Utah.  Everyone can choose how involved they want to be in the process and pay a flat fee for the level of service they choose regardless of the sales price of their home.
